简介：Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a long history of treating chronic liver diseases, although TCM has no concept of “liver fibrosis”, Chinese doctors applied TCM theories to efficiently treat the liver fibrosis in various chronic liver diseases for long time, and the understanding of liver fibrosis with TCM and the related research development can be classified roughly into 3 stages.
