简介：Strategies on treatment of HCC were mainly focused to eradicate cancer based on “pathological background” that established one century ago, which included partial hepatectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy (1950s-), liver transplantation (1960s-), limited resection for small HCC (1970s-) and locoregional therapies (1980s-). Steadily increased 5-year survival of inpatients is really observed in author’s institution in the recent half century.
