简介：Our results reveal that ALT level is not always a good indicator of liver damage. Recent guidelines showed that especially in patients with persistantly normal ALT and age >40 years should be considered for liver biopsy. In our study one patient with HAI 17 and fibrosis score 3 was identified as high inflamation and treatment started. As seen in our study, the liver biopsy should be adminestered to this patient group.
